The first major event of 2015 for the Jaguar Heritage Trust will be the InterClassics and TopMobiel show which is taking place in Maastricht, Holland from Jan 8 - 11 at the MECC conference centre.

Visitors will once again be able to admire the most stunning and exclusive classic cars in the Benelux region, as well as an extensive range of car parts and automobilia.

In collaboration with the Jaguar Daimler Club Holland, the event will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Jaguar brand with a special show pavillion that will feature 12 different Jaguar models.

SS Jaguar 2½ litre

It was in 1935 that the Jaguar name was first used on a car - the SS Jaguar 2½ litre saloon (pictured left).  The company officially changed its name to Jaguar Cars Limited after the war and in the seventy years since then, has produced a succession of iconic vehicle designs that have made the company what it is today.

The Trust is sending over three significant historic vehicles from its collection to be part of the special display: the famous 1950 alloy-bodied XK120 OTS NUB120, the 1953 C-type NDU 289 and finally the 1988 Le Mans winning XJR-9.
