Saturday, January 7, 2017 to Saturday, December 2, 2017
The Jaguar Breakfast Club meetings were initiated in April 2016 at the initiative of Peter Simpson of the JEC and XKEC. They have proved to be extremely popular with several new Jaguars (and their proud owners) appearing each month to join the 'regulars'. The biggest gathering to date was on October 1 when over 300 Jaguars came along to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Jaguar XK8 (X100).
The normal format for the day is that the cafeteria is open from 10:00 (09:30 in summer months) for hot breakfasts and the museum is also open from 10:00. There is a different theme each month and a short talk on this subject will be given by one of the Jaguar Heritage Trust team members in the new Collections Centre building at around 11:00 followed by a tour round the vehicles on display. Lunch is available in the cafeteria from 12:30.
Prior visitors to the British Motor Museum (during the previous 12 months) who gift aided their Museum entry will be admitted free of charge if they show their receipt at the pay desk. New visitors can either pay the reduced ‘Club Day’ rate of £9 for the day, or pay the standard Museum entry fee of Adult £14 or Concession £12 and receive a 12 month gift aid season ticket. This allows you to come back as many times as you like in the next 12 months (excluding 5 Show Days).
