Saturday, August 6, 2016 to Saturday, August 6, 2016
The next of the planned monthly Jaguar Breakfast Meets will take place on August 6, once again at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, Warwickshire.
These events, which are the initiative of Peter Simpson of the JEC and XKEC, have proved to be extremely popular with several new Jaguars (and their proud owners) appearing each month to join the 'regulars'. More than 70 cars turned up at Gaydon for the July meeting and a similar number is anticipated in August.
The format for the day is that the cafeteria is open from 09:00 for hot breakfasts with the museum open from 09:30. A short talk by one of the Jaguar Heritage Trust team then takes place in the new Collections Centre at around 10:30 followed by a private tour of the building. Lunch is available in the cafeteria from 12:30.
The theme for the August meet is going to be Concept Cars. There is now a fascinating line up of 8 Jaguar concept cars in the Collections Centre ranging from the original XJ220 concept from 1988 up to the C-XF from 2007 and including the 1988 XJ42 (the first F-TYPE design) which has never been seen in public before!
