Jaguar Heritage News - August 2014

Tuesday, September 2, 2014

The Jaguar Heritage newsletter is produced each month to keep enthusiasts and followers up to date with our news and the many activities and events that we support.  As well as publishing the newsletter on our website, it is also sent to several of the major Clubs and enthusiast publications around the world in order to communicate our news to a wider audience.

A new Heritage Business unit has recently been created by Jaguar Land Rover within its Special Operations division and this is now gathering momentum and beginning to promote its range of services and activities.  For the Jaguar side of this business, it has been decided to trade under the umbrella title of 'Jaguar Heritage'.  This may cause a little confusion in the near term because the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (which operates this website) has been trading as Jaguar Heritage for the last five years!  The newsletter outlines some of these changes in more detail and will hopefully clarify the current situation.  Please bear with us as we go through this transition.

Other than that, it has been business as usual with a number of major events including the special D-type 60th anniversary celebration held at Gaydon at the end of July, the Oldtimer Grand Prix in Germany where Jaguar Deutschland had a fantastic stand and most recently the Coventry Festival of Motoring which featured 11 cars from the Jaguar Heritage collection in the Historic Vehicle Run.
