Jaguar Heritage News - July/August 2013 Issue

Monday, July 1, 2013

The Jaguar Heritage newsletter is produced each month to keep enthusiasts and followers up to date with the many activities and events that we support.  As well as publishing the newsletter on our website, it is also sent to several of the major Clubs and enthusiast publications around the world in order to communicate our news to a wider audience.

The July/August edition includes a report on the opening ceremony for the new Jaguar Heritage gallery at the Coventry Transport Museum, which included a head turning 'Jaguar Bloodline' convoy of vehicles making its way into Coventry as well as the presentation of the first production example of the new Jaguar F-TYPE to Jaguar Heritage.  It also contains reports on the major events that we have supported in July and August including the Coronation Festival, Goodwood Festival of Speed and CarFest North - where we had an incredible line-up of five V12 engined race cars which made demo runs on the Oulton Park circuit.  These included the 1976 Broadspeed XJ12 C and 1983 Group 44 XJR-5 both making their first public outings since their original acquisition by the Trust.  There are also details of the forthcoming events later this month and in September which include the Coventry Festival of Motoring on August 24-25, which will see around 15 vehicles from the Jaguar Heritage Collection taking part in the Sunday morning run.
