"The Trust" - August - September 2016 Newsletter

Sunday, September 25, 2016

'The Trust' is the newsletter for the Jaguar Heritage Trust and is normally published on a bi-monthly basis.  Its aim is to keep enthusiasts and followers up to date with our news and the many activities and events that the Trust supports.  As well as publishing 'The Trust' on our website, it is also sent to several of the major Clubs and enthusiast publications around the world in order to communicate our news to a wider audience.

This is a bumper edition as the last couple of months have been a particularly busy period for events.  These included a number of club events in the UK, two large classic car gatherings in Germany and the XJ40 30th Anniversary celebration event held at Dunkeld in Scotland.  We also played host (in the Collections Centre) to the press launch for the Jaguar Formula E programme where the driver line-up was announced and the new car (the I-TYPE) was revealed.   There is also report on the biennial World Forum for Motor Museums which recently took place at the Auto & Technik Museum at Sinsheim in Germany - a must visit for any car or aircraft enthusiast!

Finally, the newsletter takes a look at some of the upcoming events over the next two months and has some news items from the Archive team.
